Perry Law is excited to welcome David Russell as a new associate to our firm. David has broad experience representing clients in high-stakes commercial, white-collar, administrative regulatory, and appellate matters. These representations include a money-laundering investigation on behalf of an international financial institution, a bankruptcy proceeding on behalf of a foreign sovereign, and the successful participation of an international financial institution as a government witness in a major criminal trial.
David maintains an active pro bono practice, recently obtaining a favorable settlement on behalf of a prisoner alleging constitutional violations against his correctional facility under section 1983. David also regularly publishes legal scholarship, including articles in the Arkansas Law Review, New York University Journal of Legislation and Public Policy Quorum, and the Government Contracting Law Report.
Before joining Perry Law, David worked as an associate at a major international law firm and served as a law clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. David holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and a J.D. from Cornell Law School.
